Our new place has one rose bush and to my surprise, it just started blooming a few days ago. Like overnight!
Big, fragrant, fluffy, slightly unsaturated in color, vintage pink blooms. Blooms so heavy that the stems are bending and a few roses are already on the ground. Since I was little, I’ve always dreamed of having a garden filled with mossy, concrete statues, towering trellises and arbors, all covered in beautiful, lush, fragrant roses. Hopeless romantic much? For now, I’ll do my research, buy a trellis for my new rose friend and try to learn a little more about them.
