Description
This vintage, framed, ready-to-hang duck print by wildlife artist, Gregory F. Messier will surely add a touch of class to any wall. Nature lovers and bird lovers alike would appreciate the detail in this print! When I found this, the paper dust cover on the back had been torn off, so I replaced it with a brand new piece of paper backing to ensure the preservation of the piece. The art framer in me just couldn’t resist! The original hanging hardware is still intact and attached to frame (see photos).
The frame shows some wear, including slight scratches and part of the wood grain is lifting on the top left but there’s nothing about it that wouldn’t stop me from hanging it on my own wall. I love the character in this piece and have considered keeping it for myself 🙂 There’s also a signature on the lower, left side of the print that reads “Gregory F. Messier”. Condition is vintage, used and sold as-is.
I imagine this piece in a cabin by a lake, in a den, with a collection of other vintage art or just by itself.

≡≡≡ About the Reclaimed Wood I Use ≡≡≡
I carefully choose and collect only the most unique pieces of used wood and repurpose them into beautiful signs, mostly for my “tiny sign” collection. Each piece of wood has been thoroughly cleaned, sealed with a non-toxic finish, painted and then sealed again with the same non-toxic matte finish for extra protection.

Randomly, I wander around my yard, neighborhood and local beaches, looking for branches that have the “right” look for my branch art designs (yes, I’m that person). Every single branch has been cleaned and sanded in spots that need it, without disturbing any of it’s natural beauty.
