Vintage Feet with Red Toes Salt and Pepper Shakers

Adorable, vintage set of little feet with bright red painted toes.

This set doesn’t include stoppers but as I see it, and if you’ll notice in the photos, the holes on the bottom of each don’t seem like they were made for stoppers to fit. This set’s intention seems to be more decorative than functional. I’m sure if you wanted to use them as shakers, you could easily find/make stoppers to accommodate. Crazing visible on both pieces and more so on the right foot (2 holes) Also, there’s a small, dark dot on the same shaker but seems to be part of the original production process. On the left foot (one hole) the paint around the cuticle area has bubbles in it, and again, I believe this occurred during the original production process.

On another note, I wish my toes looked this pretty everyday 🙂
